Abstract
Internet addiction, also known as problematic or pathological internet use, is generally defined as the disruption of functions in various areas of life as a result of obsessive or problematic internet use. Academic procrastination occurs when students unnecessarily delay completing activities such as projects and assignments. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between internet addiction and academic procrastination of social work students. In addition, internet addiction and academic procrastination were examined in terms of various variables such as age, class, place where they live the longest, family income level, internet connection device, average daily usage of internet and the purpose of internet use. Pearson Moments Correlation, t-test, and F-test (ANOVA) were used for statistical analysis of the data.
